Events¶
The Xen Project community meets regularly at in-person and virtual events. This page describes the main events and how to participate.
Xen Project Summit¶
The Xen Project Summit is the main annual conference for the Xen community. It brings together contributors, users, and vendors to share talks, discuss the project roadmap, and collaborate in person.
Information about upcoming and past summits is available at https://xenproject.org/events/.
Hackfests¶
Hackfests are smaller, focused events where contributors work together on specific topics. They are typically co-located with other open source conferences or organized independently.
If you are interested in organizing or attending a hackfest, reach out on the xen-devel mailing list.
Travel sponsorship¶
The Xen Project may be able to offer travel sponsorship to contributors who would otherwise be unable to attend events. Details about how to apply are announced alongside specific events.
Virtual events¶
The Xen Project also participates in virtual events, including online talks and contributor days. These are announced on xen-devel and the events page.
Speaking at events¶
If you are interested in giving a talk about Xen at an event, the Xen Project can sometimes support speakers with promotional materials or other assistance. Contact the project team via the Xen Project website.
